Abstract

It gives me great pleasure to communicate several exciting developments in our society to you. Firstly, the editorial responsibility of our journal, SAJGO, is transferred to Prof Hannah Simonds who will be assisted by Dr Linda Rogers. I am sure that these ladies will lead the journal to new heights and will introduce many improvements. I wish to congratulate them on behalf of the society and assure them of our full support. Please assist them to ensure that the journal remains locally relevant and widely read and spoil them with a choice of South African and regional content to choose from! We will certainly endeavour to keep the journal one of the first choices for local peer reviewed academic output.
